Impressions on day 1: It's a shell!! It isn't some wacky multicolored program that gives you access to a limited set of commands! It's as cheap as you can get without being free!! $5 bucks for a freaking lifetime of shell access. Even places like sdf.org (wacky "shell" provider and charitable organization) charge ~$36 (for lifetime membership) for access to more commands. We'll see what I think after a week :)

Okay ... been almost 2 weeks now. No problems. If there was anything I needed that didn't come stock like a cgi-bin for my php hating ass to put python cgi's in it was provided upon request :)
I also temporarily installed a ircd running on port 26667 of this fine server but only listening for requests to irc.hawax.us:26667. It is also running smoothly, and a permanent home is in the works. It is running much more smoothly than when it was running on my home server and my router running untangle died a horrible 2 day recovery makeing death.

Side Note: If you are gonna build your own router don't use some over developed gui laiden POS just use your favorite *nix and iptables and if your feeling paranoid snort or your favorite IPS. It will be a slightly longer setup time but it will be much more stable in the long run.
